They’ve been talking global reset, 10 days of darkness, since January. It ended at the end of January.

They moved the goal post?

I’m shocked.

The recent winter storm in Texas gave us a really good preview of what happens when the lights go off. Municipal water systems fail, the logistical supply chain goes down. Grocery stores are empty within a matter of hours.

Without electricity, we revert back to live as it was 150 years ago overnight except very few people possess the necessary daily subsistence and survival skills that our forefathers had.

It would be a shite show of epic proportions. A majority in major cities would be screwed.

Rural areas would hang on the longest. And even then trying to fend off hungry people would be a constant task.

An absolute nightmare scenario.

Some of the anons are talking about a global reset in a few days
Just like the start of the covid lockdowns was to arrest the worlds evil, Oprah, Hanks, and so on- to GTMO....

You speak of this like a global power surge, permanent or otherwise...

This talk spreads and it causes grocery runs and TP shortages.

I think the always wrong anons mean the great reset is coming. This is a no brainer they have announced it, it is in the news. It is not the fairy land great awakening brainwashed into the nutjobs that believe every fringe site. I doubt the great reset will happen in the next few days, so why spread this stuff?

If these type scenarios interest you, I highly recommend you read One Second After by William Forstchen.

I'll second that and add these two, even better;

Bracken hit the nail on the head w/ Jamal Tambor in this one. A foreshadow of B. Hussein Obama or legally known as Barry Soetoro.

I got water covered. Food I have 3 months worth plus deer and turkey's to hunt. The night's in my area would be okay because we're a bunch of mountain people. Keep the riff-raff out by just closing one road in.

I’ve read all of Bracken’s books. He understands leftists and knows what they’re capable of. He’s a former SEAL, so his descriptions of combat are very realistic.

Let’s face facts: the majority of us would probably be dead within 3 months. At least the soy boys and girls will go first.

Yep the people in large urban centers would be so screwed.

They can make fun of people out in the country as a "backwoods redneck" but those people will continue on like little has changed.

Glad I have an overflowing well and lots of fish and wildlife... If I can make it 5-6 months will out being killed by one of them Ill be fine. Cause most of them will be dead.

I’ve read several fiction novels lately about the collapse of society due to an EMP or other huge natural disasters that knocks out the power grid. In pretty much all scenarios, people become very desperate and violent. Hunger makes people do crazy shite.

I don’t have kids, but I imagine all of you who do wouldn’t think twice about killing someone to take their food to keep your kids alive. That’s some scary shite.

There was a senator that went 'off the grid.' An EMP attack is quite plausible when we are divided with a weak leader. A giant solar storm is also possible, anything is possible...

https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2014/01/roscoe-bartlett-congressman-off-the-grid-101720/

This man was smart IMO. But unless we go off the grid like him. The best we could hope for is what we prepare for, for Hurricanes. We have all seen the grocery shelves depleted from Hurricanes. I did in Florence.

I highly doubt an anon that warns of catastrophe in a few days knows what they are talking about.

The Carrington Event of 1859 would knock out power and most technology for an extended period of time. The Amish would hardly notice it except when the starving urban mobs descended on them.

quote:

The Carrington Event[1] was a powerful geomagnetic storm on September 1–2, 1859, during solar cycle 10 (1855–1867). A solar coronal mass ejection (CME) hit Earth's magnetosphere and induced the largest geomagnetic storm on record. The associated "white light flare" in the solar photosphere was observed and recorded by British astronomers Richard Carrington and Richard Hodgson. The storm caused strong auroral displays and wrought havoc with telegraph systems. The now-standard unique IAU identifier for this flare is SOL1859-09-01.

Great book, great author, great research and speculation on the subject... Forstchen has been on the forefront of pushing Congress to harden the US Electric Grid to ensure it is more stable and less susceptible to destruction from an EMP attack or massive solar flare.

I always thought the people from Louisiana and parts of TX would survive going to their camps. People up north have hunting camps. Being a hunter will be the difference in living or dying.

During Hurricane Florence we were mandatory evacuated but our workshop door was bent from someone trying to bust in it to get our gasoline. We locked the door by nailing it with a board on the inside hastily departing.

People will do anything (steal) to not be miserable hot without a generator. Imagine if they were hungry.

The biggest wildcard are those who had nothing or were never prepared for anything. The wokesters would be literally dying in the first couple of days. People will target the weak first and in those cities they are easy pickings.

Without electricity, a city or state would have no ability to clean or pump water to large urban populations. Millions would be dead in under a month.

Fresh water would be more valuable than gold.

Yep they would descend upon my area in droves but we're so remote that it would be very easy to manage. 3 days without water, 21 day no food. Los Angeles would be screwed.
