why in the frick would we want mexico? its a shite show with tons of poverty and full of corruption and crime

just go destroy the cartels and create a big border that is militarized.

then work with them on manufacturing and ending corruption. we need to be moving our manufacturing that is currently in Asia to mexico slowly(at least the ones we cant move here) but surely so that we create a stable country with a stable economy so that the hoardes of people stop trying to come here and then also it hurts asia at the same time.

Serious question.

What does Canada and Mexico have to offer by being unified with the U.S.?

Sounds to me like Canada and Mexico will reap all the benefits and the U.S. will incur all the burdens.

A unified North America will have to happen to defeat China in an eventual WW3.

Both have tremendous natural resources. Mexico has a growing population which could help offset our terrible demographic projections.

It would take some time to bring everything up to American standards, but there is tremendous upside. I would guess that Mexico would be pretty red within a generation.

The last thing we need is to annex Mexico what a shite show that would be. The whole point of the TRUMP wall is to keep them out not grant them all citizenship
