I pointed out that your argument failed a very basic logic flaw. It did.
No you pointed out this strawman you created failed that test

Lot of major cities are fricking around with the numbers when it comes to violent crimes. Trying to create the illusion that crime is down, so that local politicians and officials can take credit.
I'll admit that crime will go down in areas where the ng has been patrolling. It's only logical. Those are the only areas I'd attribute to trump. And they are the only ones I'd actually believe crime is down in. And that's only as long as the ng is active in those areas.
As long as some local justice systems keep giving repeat offenders a free pass, violent crime in those areas will never reliably go down and stay down.

No I posted an argument that could validly allow you to call some you’ve argued with in the past hypocritical.
But giving meaning to a yoy decrease with the same albeit flawed reporting isn’t hypocritical.
It’s basic logic.

The dem narrative is that it is just a continuing downward trend that started in 2023.
There has been a decline in overall crime in Missouri. One of the reasons is changes in marijuana laws.
2010 18,000 arrest
2014 16,800
2018 15,893
Medical Marijuana legalized
2022 8,863
Legalization
2023 1,015
Missouri had 802 homicides in 2020 and 612 in 2023. St Louis passed gun laws that target people under the age of 19. St Louis homicides dropped from 263 in 2020 to 150 in 2024.
From late 2006 until 2024 pseudoephedrine laws continue to get more strict. In the early 2000’s pseudoephedrine could be bought over the counter and now you have to have a Rx.
From 2006 to 2018 Missouri’s strict laws brought arrest from meth production down 96%. Most of the arrest are now trafficking and possession. There were 2,000 lab arrest in 2012 and 50 in 2018.
There is a substantial decrease in crimes over the last 10 to 15 years.
