I had no idea that this was so inflammatory or that half the posters would confuse me for OP.

People close to me have gotten very seriously ill because of others’ egregious carelessness or disregard. I’m not trying to endorse draconian measures by asking people to be considerate or reasonably wary.

I hate that the virus is so politicized.
There is literally nothing "politicized" about the virus. Nothing!
Pushback against duplicity is not of itself political.

In that regard, there was pushback against abject lies regarding Covid -- its origin, its spread, its prevention, its treatment, and the soundness of any "science" employed in determination of those.

Pushback against lies might mistakenly be viewed as political if the lies themselves are politically motivated. In this case they were. So perhaps that is your point of reference?

Regarding the medical community, "if you work in any medical or medically adjacent field" you know that lying about science is inexcusable. Yet we spent months, in fact years, listening to medical "experts" doing just that. Once ceded, credibility is exceedingly hard to regain.

That is reflected in some of the responses you've received.

Covid is a vascular disease. It is demonstrable and proven fact that it can permanently damage your circulatory system, harden arteries, and dramatically affect grey matter in the brain.

It sounds like we shouldn’t have been fricking around with bats trying to get their diseases to infect humans.

The studies are from early on when it was a really serious issue, killing people and causing all the vascular effects you referenced

Now show me the studies omicron variants do this

Not in this post, but I think this post has a very different tenor than “Try your best not to get covid”. That smacks of draconianism.

You think endothelial damage or vascular aging present like a broken bone or something?

I don’t have an opinion on that, but you are dodging the contention between us, which is should we be “trying our best” to avoid covid. THIS is what I took exception to, and you have tacitly admitted to it being overboard when you moved the goalposts to “be considerate” and don’t flagrantly spread it,

He knows that if he said we need to mask up and social distance, we’d laugh at him and call him a fig like the people do to him in real life.

It is whatever you want to be.

If you need it to be a disease, it requires social distancing so you can steal a election. It’s that.

If you need people to stay home from school and church. It’s that.

If you need to cover up vascular side effects of the vaccine, then the disease is a vascular disease.

it's both. It's binds ACE2, a receptor which is on both respiratory epithelium and vascular epithelium and the resulting inflammation causes different clinical symptoms depending on where the vessels are that it's affecting. It's not quite that simple, but that's the gist.

You are a bunch of snowflake pussies who get triggered by people asking you to be considerate, just itching for something to bitch about.

The stupidity in this thread is rampant. People contradicting themselves left and right.

Literally two people on this page saying they didn’t know Covid was a vascular disease. I was just trying to be helpful & I’m fricking sick of waffletwats like you refusing to get tested and going out to bars or going in people’s houses when you are still contagious.

All because of politics and an allergy to fricking information. Accusing doctors of conspiring to murder people. Vaginas exploding any time you hear the word “Covid”.

I never told you to fricking get vaccinated, I never told you to quarantine, I never told you to wear a mask, I never pissed in your cereal.

I asked you to take the shite seriously & to be considerate. I told you about chronic vascular effects that persist after even mild infections. And asked you to quit downplaying the shite.

Seriously, frick yourselves.
Absolute lunatics.

frick you, bitch.

Come out and tell us you still want to suck on your mom’s tits and social distance. We know that’s where you’re headed.

I’m not doing either. (Anymore. I already sucked your mom’s tits.)

Literally no difference between this and “try your best not to get Covid” except the latter advice is more directly appealing to people’s self-interest.

You got triggered by seven words of innocuous advice, admit it.

And the part you “don’t have an opinion on” was the only part that mattered lol.

I admit it. I’ll always get triggered by hectoring bureaucrats and “medical professionals” giving us bad advice about shutting down civilization over a chicken-shite virus.

There literally IS a big difference, and it doesn’t surprise me to find that you are in the camp that doesn’t know what “literally” means.

My point is that Covid indisputably causes varying degrees of permanent vascular damage & in severe cases, brain damage.

Can agree with you that half the country did encounter brain damage during the covid pandemic.
