but I can understand where he’s coming from and believe he’s genuine in wanting to address a problem.

But..is he though? I mean, everyone wants to end murder, It's not a high moral ground that the left.can claim. No one wants needless deaths but every time it comes to Democratic positions ... They only tout the need for gun control. It's a political position, not a moral position for them and I have to ask myself ..if the position of "if it only saves one life" is so promoted - why is always lives taken by those using guns are the lives that mean the most ? There are countless ways to die but there is only a focus on guns. We don't need 100 mph cars, we don't need jagermeister, we don't need 3000 calorie drinks, etc .. There is a miles long list of things we don't need - if we want to develop a "needs committee" I want to be on it . I can't think of someone as "honorable" that is not fighting as hard for ..prohibition's return as he is for gun control...he's not trying to save lives ,he's trying to push a political position In fact, I'm thinking that the gun violence in urban Chi STL NO etc is tacitly allowed by Dems because it provides the data points to sell the gun control argument on national level. So my question is...why is always guns that the left is going after "to save lives"?

That's right...his wife was colluding with one or more of his teammates back in the day. He was playing with basketballs and she was playing with black balls.

It’s one thing to disagree with a man’s politics, but to vilify this man while idolizing someone whose life choices demonstrate anything but conservatism is foolishness.

No, this is entirely about politics. This is no longer about a civil disagreement. The left has actively pushed shoving untested vaccines into people's arms under penalty of losing their livelihood. They have championed the burning of cities, ambush and murder of law enforcement, releasing killers into the street without punishment, unchecked flood at our southern borders which is putting a strain on communities across the nation. The have made villains out of lawful gun owners while ignoring the black arms market fueled by their border negligence and gang violence driven by the same. They have encouraged racial segregation and hatred. They have taken the rights of parents to protect their young children from being chemically castrated before they even hit puberty. They have funded a proxy war with the owner of the largest nuclear stockpile in the world without any consideration to what might happen, so long as their missile maker stock goes up.

The left is a vile, tyrannical political force that has taken power never intended by our Constitution, spent us into an inflationary hole, used their tech backers to smear and censor opposing thought and the court system to hound and bankrupt anyone who opposes them.

This is who Steve Kerr represents, stands on a stage and cheers for and plays attack dog with his public microphone to defend. frick him, frick his "conservative" credentials and frick you for defending him. People like him rightly attacked W. Bush for years for his wars and government overreach. Those of us like myself, who sadly voted for him, have been expected to be responsible to that support and if we weren't, Trump never would have been elected. Kerr just watched a coup of his chosen President go down and is cheerleading like a little girl at an NSYNC concert. He's not responsible, he's just high enough up on his ivory tower that consequences are no longer anything he worries about.

I used to feel sorry for Kerr after MJ punched him in the face at a practice in the late 90s. Now I realize MJ was just trying to slap the liberal bitch out of him. Tough task.

Kerr is outspoken and takes strong positions in favor of gun control, trannys and BLM. I disagree with him but don’t doubt his strong opinions. I just wonder what his positions are on the slaughter of Palestinians. As a self-professed and outspoken liberal I’m surprised he hasn’t stated a strong position on this issue. I’m sure Joe Lacob and Adam Silver would appreciate his always frankness.

He's comfortable in life. Nothing Kamala and the Democrats come up with will affect him. IOW, he is another selfish a-hole pretending like he gives a damn.

Which is even more puzzling as to him supporting a party that supports terrorism.

I was talking to someone about losing interest in the NFL the other day. It dawned on me that the D/R ratio within 10 miles of every NFL Stadium is probably 90/10. This is all an assumption, and would love to know if I'm wrong or what others think it would be. But the creation of the 'political' Steve Kerr makes perfect sense to me when he probably "talks" politics with people all of the time, but has probably never had a conversion that wasn't just inside of a democratic sounding chamber in many years.

He's like Pop. I think basketball coaches learned a long time ago they'll catch more flies with honey. Pretty sure Phil Jackson is also pretty liberal.

But in a world that's so politically polarized, i don't know if it does you a ton of good to go out and be so public about it. You're going to alienate a good bit of your base. Seems kinda dumb.

Nowhere close to that. 10 miles is a big radius and will encompass purple suburbs. Plus some of the stadiums have moved out to the suburbs - Foxborough, East Rutherford, Arlington, Glendale, Santa Clara, etc. Then there are teams like the Titans, Bengals, Jaguars, etc. where the split is probably 50/50. And the football fans who pack into these stadiums come from all over the state and probably lean right.

NBA is a different animal though - much more urban, black and liberal. Guys like Pop and Kerr can get away with left-wing political advocacy because it pleases their customer and fan base. All other sports, aside from maybe soccer, should keep a lid on that stuff.
