There doing exactly what the Marxists in the Department of Education has told them to do for the last 50 years. It's been a slow and gradual process, but has definitely done it's damage. Started at the Universities and worked its way down to the elementary level. Today, most educational institutions are more concerned with teaching CRT and woke insanity than teaching how to read, write, and do math.
I read the first word, laughed at you, and had to comment. You really gonna talk shite about stupid people by committing an elementary error on the first word?

An ignorant and uninformed populous is exactly what the globalist and elites want. They are winning because they control the public school systems.
What had to happen 1st was a financial situation that required both parents to work. From there you have a family structure that has the parents overly preoccupied and stressed just to make ends meet, so they take a lackadaisical approach to their kids education.
I was one of the lucky ones that had the good fortune and blessings to be home schooled up until 9th grade.

does the register not do the calculation for them? I don't remember back in 1993 having to do the calculations in my high school head when I had to jump on a register at the local grocery store.

I don't know about any of that. I'm only a customer spending my money.

Funding a payroll.
That’s it.
That’s it.

Why are y'all so stupid?
He's commenting on how the public educational system failed. Assuming he is also a product of the public educational system, him making mistakes PROVES HIS POINT. It doesn't detract from it.
Again (y'all please listen this time), he never said the educational system was adequate but the people were too stupid to absorb what they were taught. He said the educational system failed, which means anybody who is a product of it will show deficiencies, including himself. That means that if he shows deficiencies also, that underscores the point.
Why are ya'll so dumb you don't get that?

I guess your education didn't include the use of emphasis on words, there did it, young scholar? Or are your reading skills just that poor?
Or maybe you're just buddies with Warrior Court, who was being a belligerent assshat, who the comment was directed at?
Stupid is a word that bouncing around in my head right now too, genius.
Doesn't really matter. Anybody who can't comment without gaslighting as their primary attack is not a very bright, or even rational individual. And has no basis for their standing.
Sooooooo.... as the rest of my GenX kin say in regards to you... "IDGAF".
Go back to your thread where you're showing just how smart you are, by not understanding a flag from an area you claim to live in.

It's not just recent graduates. Anyone under the age of 30 who grew up with a calculator has trouble doing simple math in their head. I played golf with a 28 y.o. college graduate working middle management for a big company. After the 18th we added up the single digit scores. He had to get out his cell phone calculator. I was finished adding the single digits in my head and waited for him to continue pecking away till he got the answer.

The register will tell them how much change is owed. The register will not tell them the value of a penny, the value of a nickel, the value of a dime, the value of a quarter or how many of all of those coins you need to give back the correct change. I was standing behind someone at a register that needed 91 cents back in change. The cashier started with a stack of at least ten quarters before they even got to the dimes, nickels, and pennies part.
