Bush acted "right". His daddy acted "right". Dole, McCain, Romney...they all acted "right" and they were savaged by idiotic Hollywood nutbags like Michael Moore. They had ads depicting them pushing old ladies off cliffs. "Journalists" who have awards named after them lied to push lies intended to smear their character. Their voter base was called deplorables and bitter clingers. Academics invented bull-malarky "studies" smearing all conservative voters as low-IQ blue collar troglodytes.
Trump is the monster they've made. He employs the same political tenor that Obama's PAC attack dogs ran on repeat against his opponents. He's a choir boy compared to the spew coming from a very childish mainstream media for the last three decades. The fact that THEY don't like it is proof that it works. People are listening. The conservative base appreciates someone fights back.
You know what petty is? Being the lone republican to vote to impeach a President based on no solid evidence just because you carry a grudge. So suck it, Shapiro. This isn't tea with the Queen.
