re: What is the vaccine mandate push really about? This is what I can’t truly understand.

It seems to be partially about money and control, on the surface, by using a virus as the catalyst to get people used to new patterns of behavior. It also helps, that certain reasonable people probably recognize that the latest version of the virus does not appear very threatening, but due to some people liking the idea of working from home, they get allies they probably wouldn't have if they spoke the truth about having the cold. Also, the greater push for virtual work, since it began, helps to push a new business model that companies are learning to adapt to. You may notice the giants of business pushing for virtual worlds like the metaverse or augmented reality. Creating a world that can be loosely modeled on the earth from topo maps to meet other people or go places you couldn't go to instantly before, allows people to design new ways of making money or living whatever fantasy they dream up. I wouldn't be surprised if in 10 years, someone wakes up, puts on a VR headset and works an 8 hour job completely in a virtual world selling something desired virtual items (virtual clothing, weapons, upgrades, digital property) and interacting with other real, but virtual customers all over the world. Do you want to visit the Alps? Maybe in the future you will be able to visit it in virtual environment to explore all the features in seconds and even interact with a real tour guide working in Switzerland, or even to explore areas that you would normally be restricted in the real world. From the point of view of nation states, also having people live more of their lives virtually allows more monitoring and influence and control over behavior over the populations.

Political Power/Control for the foreseeable future
ie, overstate the threat of the disease so that “emergency legislation” can be pushed through that will help secure a win in the election and/or enable widespread voter fraud
Then with a super majority and the presidency push through packed legislation and pass massive spending measures so the same bad actors can line their pockets and at the same time secure control over the “free elections” for the foreseeable future through pretextual tactics such as gerrymandering and ballot harvesting
Meanwhile use your majority control over the political narrative in the country due to your alliances with the big tech and media distributors to discredit the opposition
And then, to set legal precedent, use the ridiculously favorable narrative orchestrated by your party members to usher in nationalized mandates for vaccinations. That way this same precedent can be applied in other contexts….such as election procedures traditionally handled by the states or future anticipated legal challenges to election results in upcoming races.

We have had 50,000 people get covid in a week and less than a 1000 in the hospital!
We all know that's just the ones who got tested probably more like 180,000 people have Covid right but nobody is in the hospital!
That dog want hunt! You have been cheated and lied to by the Government now go get your booster bitch! Weak little second hander!

Now that the anti viral pills have come out,
what little reason was left to take the vaccine is nearly gone.

I am not a medical professional, just a dumb engineer that's likes actual proof and the numbers to add up. That and a healthy amount of common sense and distrust of the government and centralized power.
I personally know three Dr's, one who is well known and is considered the top in his speciality, dual PHD.
None are vaccinated or recommend getting it, nor does the PA and NP that I saw when I tested positive.
Plenty medical professionals out there not on the take that can see through this BS.

It's a pandemic of testing, not some extinction-level, humanity- killing super virus .
The vaxxed and boosted are the ones who are going to continue tripping positive tests. Pure blooded folks are just going to keep getting the common cold/ annual flu strain.

That's true! Has she read any of the studies that have been published and peer reviewed? How have those impacted her thoughts?

all from her experience
Surely you're not claiming that one person's experience is more valuable than teams of specialists studying the pandemic, right?

I don’t know the answers and I completely agree with everything you said. Also, I had Covid twice and at the same exact times as you did. Relatively mild both times. Completely lost smell and taste the first time but only lost about 50% of smell this time and didn’t lose taste at all.

It absolutely isn’t. What is your personal experience and qualifications? I know what she did and her credibility. Not too sure about yours, but let’s hear it

Nice! I'm glad we can agree. Just so you know there are studies that have been done that directly refute the things you say you believe in your OP. Would you like a link to them?

Nothing related to infectious disease. Fortunately there are a lot of professionals who have dedicated their lives to studying things like this and publishing the results. I tend to follow their lead because while I also have family that work in healthcare, none of them specialize in infectious disease.

And that’s all I needed to hear. You have no relevance. Just keep spewing what you hear and read like a sheep. End of discussion and relevance for you

Exactly! I'm not asking you to take my word for it. That would be silly. That would be like someone taking advice from someone in their life who doesn't specialize in infectious disease.
Can you imagine something so inane and ignorant?

Save your time and energy. The "patriots" on Tiger Droppings are focused on a safe vaccine debate when they should be focused on real world problems such as obesity, addiction, and crime. The mandate will be approved by the Supreme Court. Get the vaccine and move on.

Seriously, have you seen the mini series Chernobyl? The parallels with that incident and the US government's response to Covid are terrifying.
