This is one way to look at it. To me the extremes loop around to blend together.

Unable/unwilling to tolerate difference of opinion. To the point to where you cannot even voice your opinion.

So, in your opinion, Fascism is most similar to Libertarianism?

No not really. Fascism is its own thing. Here’s another way to look at it (there are many)

I would say the military is more apropos. Private contractors controlled exclusively by the state.

With Obamacare, there is a still a private market that co-exists. Most Americans aren't on obamacare

What is Fascism

Amazing how this board ask for links, yet when people like TigerDoc give you great information the majority on PT hate it.

The truth is that Fascism can be an extreme of both Left and Right wing governments. It is accurate to say that both sides of the spectrum have elements of what could create a Fascist state. The turning point is when the worst of both parties get their way and the people, in general, lose total control of their government (voting) and no means to defend their liberty (no firearms/ state selected law enforcement)

So, in regards to fascism, you think that spectrum you showed me is shite?

And don't you think that spectrum would make more sense if anarchy was at far right instead of fascism?

Corporations and free enterprise can be allowed. Difference is the government exerts control instead of ownership. Nazis would tell them to produce what they required and didn't care what they produced after that.

No, anarchy would be the lack of governance all together so wouldn’t appear on the spectrum at the top.

Those are representations trying to graph abstract ideas. I don’t think they are shite nor do I think there’s a one size fits all model for it either.

I agree. I think of Communism and Fascism as different routes to get to real end goal, totalitarianism.

If you control the military and all other forms of enforcement, you control everything by force.

If you control the social media, create a dogmatic groupthink that is very popular, and use that as a means to create any laws, you control by mental oppression.

Both sides seek the end game of controlling the means of production through different proxies, capitalism or socialism.
