Don’t have to list names for privacy reasons, but if you would please look up the cost of closest community college and university to you and look up their cost per credit hour. Would like to see and raise awareness of this.
This is based on typical 3 hour class, so 3 X credit hour = cost of class (not including fees)
Community college 3 X $131.67 = $395.01
University 3 X $323.63 = $970.89

says semester in state 9354 for the university
4488 for a semester at the community college.
Be better knocking out your gen ed courses at the CC. Then transfer to the university.

CC - $134.89 / credit hour before fees
Uni - Non-linear scale. 0 hours (non-hour class) is $307, 1 hour is $1027, up to $2125 for 11 hours total. Full time is $2486.
I’m amazed the uni in question can charge this month considering its quality. I would have been paying this much as an out of state student where I went decades ago for the same price if I didn’t qualify for instate rates.

I went through school a few years ago as a non traditional veteran. I’m pretty familiar with it, but I don’t think many really know. Which we all should because that’s examples of two places your taxes are going.

NE Mississippi
Community college 3 X $0 = $0
At Itawamba Community College in northeast Mississippi, students from Benton, Calhoun, Chickasaw, Itawamba, Lafayette, Lee, Monroe and Pontotoc counties can have their tuition paid for through a county tuition grant program.

The masters program I just finished was $668 a credit hour. 36 credit hours x 668 = $24,048. See, it's paying off already. Thanks, Uncle Sam! With extra classes at no cost past a certain number of credit hours a semester, $20,040.

For most of the worthless soydrinking cucks nowadays it's free I've heard. None of them will ever pay back the loans.

Your cost sheets are going to be misleading FYI for full time students.
Community College in the County I live in is about $360 for a 3 credit hour class. State schools vary a bit but are over $1,000 per credit hour.
The cost for full time students is about $10,500 per year for in-state at State Colleges where I live but that is only tuition. Broken down by the average credit hours per semester it works out to about $175 per credit hour or $525 for a 3 credit hour class for full time tuition rates. Part time tuition is ridiculous but I think it's to discourage people from enrolling in only 1 or 2 classes per semester.
In-State and Community College tuition costs can vary wildly based on how much cash parents make too.

My daughter goes to OU. (no pics)
We pay about $17k a semester. That includes fees, tuition, and out-of-state fees. On top of that, we are paying for sorority and an apartment, plus incidental expenses, food, travel costs. All total, we're spending over $50k a year.
