Massie has a long track record of voting with Democrats in support of their open border policy.
Secure the Border Act — passed in a 219-213 vote in 2023. Massie was one of Two House Republicans to side with Democrat (yet again, sigh) and voted against the GOP border bill.

They've declared war on Massie because he's the best in Congress, and they are simply lying their asses off
And using terrible examples, like H. R. 6136.
The roll call vote. Huge L for Trump. It lost by almost 200 votes. It barely had a majority support by the GOP
Also, it would expand federal power and increase federal spending. Of course Massie would be against it. He wants smaller government and less spending. Amash, RDS, Gohmert, and Loudermilk also voted No.
Adam Kinzinger, Paul Ryan, and Kevin McCarthy voted for it, though

Catturd, who fills the sheeples with info definitely is into pegging:

Not Suprised. He is a Establishment DeSimp who is always against Trump and MAGA candidates. Birds of a feather flock together

Trumpfan won't comprehend what Massie is spelling out in that tweet.

Somebody page me once one of the MAGA-bots (totally not in a cult) answers the questions about who supported more federal spending on programs recently.

The truth isn’t the definition of a RINO and Massie is no different than Trey Gowdy or Josh Hawley, great for sound bites or tweets but never really accomplish anything. I prefer politicians who actually get things done trying to make the US government better

No, he did not, you fricking lying bitch

When this is done via compromise, that's being a RINO.
Well it was, until some GOP members started actually trying to vote to decrease federal spending, and then MAGA changed yet another definition to fit their echo chamber worldview.
Supporting big spending and big federal government + changing the definition of words sounds....well like Democrats/Leftists.

Massie is awesome. I wish Trump would listen to him more. Dude has been a rock these last few years.

Well, let's look into the truth:
quote:
Two House Republicans bucked their party and voted against the GOP conference’s flagship border bill Thursday.
The legislation — titled the Secure the Border Act — passed in a 219-213 vote. Republican Reps. John Duarte (Calif.) and Thomas Massie (Ky.) were the only two GOP lawmakers to join Democrats opposing the measure.

Already thwarted your silliness above with direct responses from Massie.
Feel free to go back into the echo chamber and try again. You've been the epitome of failure this morning so far.
But, then again, supporting bigger federal government and more federal spending will do that to a person.

It's comical that you simply cannot understand why he voted the way he did.
To use some hyperbole to make it more obvious, you would be screaming about Massie voting against a "border bill" that also included $500 billion for Ukraine.
They do these bills the way they do to snow voters like you. Massie doesn't go along.

That won't happen. Massie embarrassed Trump, and his ego took over.

I don't understand people still falling for this. A bill for $9 billion worth of bullshite pork has one line item about saving puppies, you vote against it, there's your next campaign slur. "He voted to kill puppies!!!!!" and dumbfrick X junkies eat it up.

Wait a minute, I thought you said that it was a lie that Massie voted with Democrats. Now, it’s Massie voted with Democrats but he’s always got an excuse.

The truth about Massie is this. He is for shrinking the spending. He is not effective. And he misses the point often. This is one of those times.
His stated reason for voting against this was it funded Biden's plan. That's simply not true. Biden is not president. Trump is. Trump has circumvented the spending via DOGE.
New York Mag even gets it.
GOP Makes Dems Choose Their Poison: Shutdown or DOGE Cuts
In other words, the veep was telling Republicans they were approving a spending measure written in disappearing ink because Elon Musk at DOGE and Russ Vought at OMB would continue to cancel spending as they wished without any input from or concurrence by Congress.
Here is the AP quoting other GOP reps:
LINK
“In DOGE we trust,” said Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Calif., a longtime deficit hawk who was among those voting yes.
Musk said that Social Security and other mainstay “entitlement” programs also need drastic cuts.
“The Republican majority just voted to hand a blank check to Elon Musk,” said Rep. Katherine Clark of Massachusetts, the Democratic whip.
Like I said, I like his outlook on the budget, but he simply missed the boat on this.
