What definition are you using? Because it’s not like this is such a hard term there is only one.

I've had days of pointed, even heated debate with dozens if not hundreds of posters on the PT board in the last 14 years or so, and have managed to do so civilly, respectfully, and without rancor or recriminations. I have gained knowledge from nearly every one of them. As with much of your bitching, whining, and lamenting about the discourse on the PT board, and I guess TD itself, once again, as always, it says much more about you, Hanky, than anything you are bitching about. Your massive ego and monumental narcissism simply will not allow for the fact that hundreds of people here vehemently disagree with the numerous idiotic, centrist, leftist, and elitist positions you take.

It’s perfectly fine to be challenged. The original post I responded to made it sound like posts from the left were met with debate and such. I was pointing out that is generally not true in my experience. I also don’t feel victimized as I said it doesn’t bother me. Once again, I was responding to an earlier assertion.

Almost universally, definitions of social echo chambers include a qualification of insulation from opposing ideas.

Now go look up selective exposure theory and confirmation bias. When you're done, come back and admit you were wrong.
