First off, why would NATO do anything? Ukraine isn’t part of nato. Secondly, nobody is going to use one nuclear bomb. They know the entire world would be against this. Only way nukes will be used is if it’s an all out war to destroy an entire nation(s).

Russia will not use any type of nuke on Ukraine. They will respond to this the same way they have responded to every other Ukraine attack inside Russia. With a large drone a cruise missile attacks. Seems like most of y'all just started following this war in the last year or so.

What can I say Penrod, Im an old fart. I remember elementary school in Huntsville. We were on the top 10 target lists of strikes due to the redstone arsenal so we did those drills of getting under your desk.
I still remember "clear your desk and get under it". Okay so why am I concerned about a stray pencil poking my eye out if Im about to be incinerated into a dark spot on the ground?

I find it hard to believe that in 2025, the heart of Russia's strategic nuclear defense relied on 40 year old aircraft sitting on a tarmac with no surface to air defense.
Consider this, the book "Red Storm Rising" by Tom Clancy was published in 1986. The Bear was the iconic strategic bomber in that book.
