Sure seems like he's taking his time announcing, and is mostly focused on governing his state, which he's turned into one of the most successful and RED in the union.

Can't wait to see all the boomer grillers on here who are falling all over themselves to defend Trump from any possible challenge from the right, suck his political dick in 2028 when he actually does run and its him vs Romney or something.

I don't have an issue with DeSantis but think if you get Trump back in he can clear a path for DeSantis or whoever in 2028. Trump is a wrecking ball and we need that now with all of the BS that is going on. DeSantis would be wise to wait a term and come in and keep shite moving forward. Plus Trump has more international connections/presence and can get us respected again.

no

it'll be just like 2020 where the left will vote in ANYONE to avoid the right taking the office again.

It's how we got here now

To republicans who only agree with him 95% of the time? Yes.

To globalists and their agenda? Results have been mixed.

I have no idea where people get the idea that another Trump term would be followed by a Republican.

Did you guys not witness the unadulterated, foaming at the mouth opposition and backlash Trump's last term generated on the left and amongst the suburban women? It seems nonsensical to think that any Republican will be able to win a POTUS election after another Trump term.

I like DeSantis, but I think he should wait until 2028. And, I have always thought that was his plan.

Didn't he say that he wouldn't run if Don ran? Why the media and deepstaters refuse to accept that? They hate Trump that much?

More likely, most of the ones pushing for DeSantis now, won't back him when he does run.

Desantis doesn't have to "announce". Everytime the Onion Loaf flings shite all over him, he "announces" for him. Almost every single day, with every attack, Donald Trump announces to the world who he believes will be the next Republican nominee for President of the United States.

This 2028 fantasy needs to stop. It's become desperate and sad. Ron Desantis is not waiting to run for President in 2028 and if Trump starts to act nice for a change, then the next time he sees the inside of the White House, it'll be as Ron's dinner guest.

He didn't really wreck much his first term. Tax cuts, Court justices and a delay in illegal immigration, but otherwise, nothing that wasn't easily undone. He also can't win. Too many in the middle, which you need, have been poisoned against him.

It's not a guarantee he would, but Trump guarantees Biden for 4 more and Dem control of the House

Biden's unpopularity could allow Trump to eek out a win, but as we saw in his last term he'll be very unpopular by 2028, destroying DeSantis' momentum and allowing a democrat to defeat him, whereas I don't think there's one that would right now. The next R president needs an 8 year run, and DeSantis should run now.

I hope this is wrong, but if I had to put money on it this would be the bet.
