That’s what I was thinking.

The judge is willfully ignoring the powers of the executive branch for base political reasons.

If the judicial order is being ignored it’s because the judicial branch is no longer apolitical and is trying to usurp the powers specifically granted to the President.

Yes, I'm OK with democrats having the power to deport non-citizen terrorist associates.

The current DOJ argument and larger MAGA argument is a bit more than just that framed position.

DOJ is arguing they can invoke all sorts of "military" based laws without a military conflict and then they have no oversight by anyone. This is much larger than just deportation.

And this isn't something shocking. MAGA spent 4 years melting about the "domestic terror" label for this EXACT reason.

Which “military” based laws?

Be specific.

Biden and his ilk (you, apparently) called me, and anyone like me, a domestic terrorist for 4 years. GFY

By reading

quote:

Finally, even if the Court’s order had purported to enjoin the government from taking steps overseas pursuant to the Proclamation, that still would not restrict the President from exercising his other authorities under the Constitution to engage in diplomatic negotiations and to protect the United States from dangerous terrorists and criminals already outside the country.

quote:

These inherent Article II powers, especially when exercised outside the United States, are not subject to judicial review or intervention.

The process is the punishment. This is how the Democrats have been operating with impunity, and this is how they should be treated. Perhaps when both sides have been gutted this way there will be a majority who will bring back comity. Until then, gut those MFers!!!

It already was. We were blocked from social media for telling the truth about the origins of covid. You are warning us not to FA because we will FO, but what we are doing now is the FO to the Democrats FA.

Enter the irrelevant talking points

I'm discussing the Democrats wielding this power by using these interpretations/arguments when they regain power. I do not want them to do so.

Did you have the same feeling when the judiciary blocked Biden from doing so? When he followed that order? Those are better questions for OP

My point is, you guys should stand up for free speech all the way around instead of wanting your pound of flesh against people who have different political opinions.

That's fine, I get it. But, you're really no better than them when you want the system used against political opponents.

I could only imagine the absolute fricking meltdown on here had the Biden DOJ argued something like this
