Imo, a Pence run would kick the shite out of Biden. Most People don't have a problem with Trump's ideology...they just don't personally like the guy.

I don't think Pence will be the guy to run next. He's very solid but he's not a personality, and it's become pretty apparent that you need that to have a chance. I like DeSantis or Cruz to be the nominee in 2024.

At this point in time, it would be bad. Trump excites his base. The election is more about voter turnout than literally any single campaign issue. You can't just plug someone else in and expect that the excitement level is going to be there.

If Trump passes away, Democrat voter turnout would diminish. Far more people are voting against Trump than for Biden.
