I think it’s more that most everyone sees clearly that the GOP’s tactic is one of gamesmanship amd pragmatism that the Democrats aren’t morally above.

The Dems will try to stack the court the first chance they get. I really don't see how to stop them other than holding either the Senate or the WH in perpetuity.

This is a stupid question. Why would Mitch wait till after the election? He has the votes the pass the presidents pick . If democrats had control of the senate then they could wait till the election.
