Hey congrats on starting a janitor business, but dude, c'mon.

Tell me about your businesses. And don’t laugh at a janitorial business. You too uppity for that type of thing? That thing was a money making machine. An awesome side gig.

No. It's substantial is all I will say.

I wasn't laughing at the business and I'll tip my hat to any entrepreneur big or small. However, the business experience of a side gig, janitorial business, just isn't meaningful when discussing extremely, financially complicated enterprises with bank debt, bond issuances, very wealthy, heavily invested equity owners and a large, highly educated workforce with a significant LTIP.

Like I said, congrats on the janitor business, but it's not relevant.

Agreed. Being the tax guy at a firm that did M&A helped with all of that. But you’re correct. I spent most of my time when I practiced doing tax planning for ultra high net worth and their associated businesses. I did not do business valuations. You got me.

You're brain's boundary is the niche of law you supposedly practice. There are a lot of people and entities that care about the value of Twitter

Dude. SMH.

You may, as you claim, have actually started a business. You may have even sold one. You come across in this forum as someone who'd be eaten alive in a real world scenario though.

Maybe it's just an act, your internet facade? But res ipsa loquitur.

To be 100% honest, there is no way a person with your posting history is involved with a substantial business unless as an employee.

Maybe have 401k invested in Walmart so think you're an owner.

You moron. He clearly meant a direct competitor to Twitter (like Trump tried to do with Truth). He wasn’t referring to any social media site. You don’t always have to be a completely dishonest hack.

Slim's dumb arse clearly forgot about Threads.

There is no concern feigned or real, it’s just an observation that there are a lot of entities and people outside of the IRS that actually care about X’s (fka Twitter) value. I’m sure you as a supposed biz owner(?) cares about the value outside of some irs valuation for tax purposes.

I’m not sure of your point in the last sentence.

What specifically would give you that impression? What I know about you in a business context is you don’t know how to read a contract - you were wrong in every single respect in your emotional opinion (passed off as analysis) of the Twitter sale. If anything points to anyone who lacks the constitution for business, for making money it’s a lack of emotional control, letting personal biases shape your analysis.

And you really shouldn’t use Latin legal terminology. It upsets bbonds.

It’s the truth…do you think running a janitorial biz is comparable to running something like X?
