RINO stands for republican in name only. And that is exactly what a RINO is. A deep state dim that ran on the republican ticket and got elected by lying to you what their true political leaning really are.
They often vote Republican ways but that is just to fool you into reelecting them.
They usually jump ship on votes that require a few "Republicans" to jump ship to pass some crap legislation.
If the dims control both teams they get whatever they want. That is where the "Republicans have no backbone" saying comes from. They are persived to have no backbone... because they aren't republicans.
Cassidy is a prime example. Life long Dim that moved down here and said he was a conservative republican. He lied. Look at his voting record.

That's politics, cupcake. Been going on for quite a while. Trump can say whatever the hell he wants. So can any other candidate. Doesn't make it true, now does it?
But Trump knows that branding DeSantis with such a negative label, true or not, means DeSantis has to counter that claim. Candidates do it all the freaking time. If more people believe it, or think less of the candidate because of it, so be it.

You make a good point. Trump ain't the smartest politician around, but he's smart enough to know how to lead retards around by the nose. It really is impressive the utter nonsense he has them believing/repeating.
