Not sure about crypto but definitely seems bad for password encryption across the board. Have been dreading their impending breakthroughs.

Quantum resistant algorithms are a thing and will be used increasingly in the future for everything including online security for banking etc. and Crypto.

I remember when I was young, grew up in church and always considering the “mark of the beast”, and what it meant for life. I remember clearly, the lie I suppose I comforted myself with is that we would never have the worldwide technology capabilities to force that type of financial ultimatum onto the whole world.

Brush up on how Quantum Computing and Qbits work. Not to mention, they have to run in sub zero temperatures.
That article title is click bait. There is QRL blockchains already and Bitcoin can adapt when necessary. To say Bitcoin is “finished” is gay as frick.

Once quantum computing is truly achieved, AI will become unmanageable. At that point, AI will control anything and everything that is connected to the internet.

If that happens I wonder if ai will essentially be at war with itself. Like ai programs/robots will want to be the leader and who decides what to do? I can see in fighting happening
