And it took a lot of reading, didn't it? It's been acknowledged in many venues that it's rare kids (even in A+ school districts) ever read a full book in public school, they just read excerpts. This produces (I think) an inability to be able to notice how writer's styles differ, what voice is appropriate when, etc. I didn't practice writing a ton as a kid, but I read enough to know when I was writing something that didn't "look" right.

while i 100% agree with the admin in the death of DOE

this stat is bullshite. When you separate out by race asain and white americans score higher than our peers across the globe

Im not being racists Im simply saying that certain races account for most of the bad scores.
