didn't trump endorse Hyde?
Yes, and that's who I am voting for and who will win the election. She's far from a feminist, shes the former Sec. of Agriculture in Mississippi who lives on a cattle farm.

Tate Reeves for governor.
Terrible candidate and very unlikable

Right back at ya.
McDaniel will have more votes than Cindy Smith.

People should not underestimate Jim Hood's election machine. He's very good in MS and will be a formidable opponent for Tate

Tate is weak and is the successor in waiting to be governor. He's been nothing but a political "climb the corporate ladder" guy and nothing more.

Two things:
Haley Barbour
&
Tell me what McDaniel has fought for in the Mississippi legislature.
Listen not to what he says, but look for what he’s done (which is nothing). He rarely even shows up for work.

McDaniel's entire career has been:
"take that guy out, he's a lifelong politician. Put me in so I can be a lifelong politician"

Trump is picking his battles and will not fight McConnell on this one. Just not a huge priority for him.
No he's just not fricking stupid like you are in wanting to give away a senate seat to the democrats with a loser like McDaniel.
Did you learn nothing from Alabama and Roy Moore? The President sure as hell did and even he fought to prevent Roy Moore from becoming the nominee.

Those of you thinking a Democrat has a chance in MS right now... lol.
McDaniel is losing in the polls against the democrat in Espy.
Why do you want to score an own goal so badly and give Chuck Schumer one more vote to make him Majority Leader?

He also endorsed Roy Moore.
Only after he became the nominee and having fought to stop that from happening. Did you honestly expect the leader of the GOP to endorse a democrat?

Polls. Polls you moron.
You cucks are voting for the same establishment in Smith that yall loathe on this board and believing the same polls Nate Silver said would doom Trump.
Unbelievable.

I’m voting for CHS specifically for Trumps platform advancement.
There aren’t a lot of great state level MS politicians right now so until then we have to do what’s best for the national agenda.
Also Mcdaniel is bad. He’s gone off the deep end since the last election. Chris would be completely shunned in Washington so yeah he’d be an outsider, but we can’t afford to have an outsider that no one will even work with. And he makes MS look really bad anytime he goes on TV.

You're the democrats best friend.
Pretty stupid you want no part of the Trump endorsed Cindy Hyde Smith keeping a senate seat away from democrats over a guaranteed loser like McDaniel.
Posted on 10/30/18 at 2:25 pm to Sentrius
Actually wouldn’t you establishment types be the Dems best friends since y’all give them everything they want?
Posted on 10/30/18 at 2:32 pm to sodcutterjones
Ahh yes voting with trump on 100% of the issues. Exactly what the democrats want.
Posted on 10/30/18 at 2:35 pm to olemissfan26
Yeah, ha, Collins murkowski flake made me feel so confident durning the kavanaugh witch hunt. Get out of here with that non sense.

I never have understood why Tate Reeves got to be such a major figure in Mississippi politics. He's not very articulate, he's not very likeable, he doesn't have "good old boy" relatability for the country folks, he's made a ton of enemies in Jackson.
Why exactly did he become so powerful?

If Tate reeves runs I hope Delbert jumps in the race and knocks him out. I want him to be the next governor.
But to answer your question it’s because local state level politics are that bad in MS. No one is there to offer the challenge.

He’s been all about two term limits in the legislature all four of his terms too.
Posted on 10/30/18 at 3:37 pm to Altair76
Tate Reeves is going to make me think about voting for a Democrat.
Hoping Delbert decides to primary the "heir apparent." He'll win and have my vote.
