What a massive screw up by Pelosi.

This was a base play and that’s it. It’s going to be a base election and Dems have no accomplishments, Mueller was a dud, and their slate of candidates are Meh.
So they have to deliver impeachment. It’s all they got or you have an apathetic base (see Romey)
But what a mess up by Pelosi. Now Trumps base is more united. Dems are even further exasperated and Biden is torched.
Prediction. She will be forced out as Speaker by the end of the year.

I disagree. This won’t stick to the Dems bc nothing does. Remember how riled up the base was after Kavanaugh? It’ll fade and the next YUGE controversy will be front and center

I just don’t think the crazy base is gonna let them not impeach. They gave them an inch and now these people are gonna demand the whole world or 2020 will be an absolute disaster for them across the board all the way down to city council.
