This is nonsense, and I suspect you know that it is. Hell, there's not enough time between Ayatollah replacements to do any football spiking.

I place the over/under of this Ayatollah at 5 days.

Edit,
after additional recollection, I realized that indeed there was more than moderate amount of football spiking. The Iranian people were doing quite a large amount of celebration and spiking.

I'm sure this one won't be motivated by his religion at all and will be totally compliant to US will.

We are nine days in and you are acting like the mission is a failure. SMH. Are we no longer hitting targets?

No

Nice straw man though

The post you responded to wasn't even commenting on the operation directly. It was about the MAGA reaction to the operation.

The operation has done well so far. Shows us we could (should?) have been more active in Ukraine without much worry

My comment was not limited to American/Israeli officials, or really towards them at all.

Whether it was or wasn’t, do you really think they or anyone else cares about your opinion?

And also SFP

You were against it before you were for it. And now you feel we should have opted for a two front war?

What happened?

You're conflating

I am against the war

That doesn't mean I'm going to say that it hasn't gone well so far.

Here is the problem:

We are at the very beginning of this conflict if we're going to actually enact real change, and if we're we're towards the middle or end of this conflict, then we're not really going to do anything over the long term.

No

What happened?

Nothing except your conflation.

Now the question is if that was dishonesty on purpose or due to lack of ability

We aren’t going to do anything. You and I have no say in this. I have served in the military, I doubt you have. You still haven’t learned that your opinion doesn’t matter.

That is baseline understood.

I said THIS war is bad, and isn't likely to lead to positive outcomes.

It's not about a "baseline" or "all war is bad" statement, which I never made.

There was your exchange where you said this war is bad.

If we had more involvement in Ukraine (> $130 billion in aid)and Iran saw it as an opportunity to turn up the heat with Israel. You think that would have a better outcome than dealing with Iran now.

You need to make your meaning clear before you call people dishonest.

My message is clear

I can't help your conflation

After that post, I'm leaning towards ability and not dishonesty to explain it.

I think the biggest problem with this war is that we have nobody on the ground trying to drum up or organize opposition. For that reason, this might be a failure.

Seems like this could devolve into a cluster of chaos.

Barron should challenge him to one-on-one combat and settle this

That is certainly a very real possibility

We could solve that with forced regime change but that would require "boots in the ground" and that option presents its own issues.

Or we eventually give up killing the successors and claim victory and they just rebuild (like what happened after the strikes last year).
