Tax them more to appease the climate gods and send 10MM more 3rd world migrants. Maybe that will help?

El Niño

This year's is supposed to be strong, but the strongest on record occurred in the 1870s.

Point being that the weather has always been widely variable and the evidence that humans have any meaningful impact is minimal or suspect.

This has become the new norm. Climate change occurs naturally, of course. But if you want to see the practical effects of unnatural climate change, look at Europe.

I have lived in Germany for 14 years in total and you have little heatwaves like this every year. This is as normal as normal can be. It isn't the "new norm" and this has always been. A little heatwave here and everyone loses their mind.

Daily high temperatures (maxima) have been far above June norms (typically 20–25°C/68–77°F in the north, warmer in the south). Many areas saw 35–44°C (95–111°F), with widespread records.

We aren't seeing any unnatural climate change.

Just cyclical stuff.

Tornado Alley has shifted, but that has happened before in recorded history. Several times. My area used to be right in the bullseye in central Oklahoma and it wasn't uncommon to see 10+ tornadoes within 15 miles of town in a year. This year there was one lone spin-up, albeit brief.

It's almost July and we're flooding- but I'm old enough to have seen that a few times too.

With the climate people, the "science" is never scientific. The goalposts move as quickly as Jerry Nadler's bowels after an all-you-can-eat Mexican buffet. This "El Niño" moving around, I was told was going to plunge my area into drought and I might not see rain for a year. Could have canoed to work on Tuesday. But now it's "a SUPER El Niño" so they say it's normal for it to do the exact opposite of what they first said it would do. Hell, I remember Al Gore telling me that Florida would be underwater by 2020 if I didn't vote for him for President.

Fun times.

10 to 20 degrees C above normal ranges isn't severe?

Buddy, I don't think you understand the information that's staring you right in the face.

And sadly that doesn't surprise me.

It's not a hoax. It's just overstated and over politicized.

The funny thing is you probably don't even know why you think it's a hoax. I'll help you - because it's politicized and you fell for the propaganda.

Until these “records” are broken year after year I’m not concerned about climate change.

5 of the hottest years on record are from 2016 to 2025

3 of those 5 were 23,24,25

Does that look like any sort of pattern to you or no?

Or how about that? Sound like a trend at all?

You do know that written temperature records have only been kept since the late 1870's/early 1880's right?

So all of this "hottest year on record " bullshite is just that, bullshite.

The Earth has been much hotter over its life.

Wait.... let me understand your point here. You expect me to consider temperatures (and higher temperatures) that I, and many others, deal with for several months every summer as severe??????

That's ridiculous! Lol. Your entitled to feel sorry for em, but I don't!
When I wake up in August and the high is 101° with a heat index of 112°, it's just another day baw! Got to go get done! Crying wining like a bitch doesn't get the job done.
You should buy those French a case of bottled water and send it to em! Lol

No. I'm trying to get you to understand the concept of things being outside of recorded norms. Something you would have naturally picked up on if you were educated.
