As a former Marine officer, I have never been as disappointed in anyone as I am in that POS.
On a side note; my best friend in the Corps had some dealings with Mattis during his career and said Mattis was an extremely odd guy. He was still somewhat surprised Mattis turned out to be that big of an arse but said he was socially weird.

Well, it's about time people saw this. He's kind of a blowhard. I got so sick of that "genius warrior monk" bullshite.
The most famous example is when he sacked Col. Joe Dowdy in 2003 in the middle of combat operations. He complained that Dowdy was, and I quote "too concerned with the welfare of his men". Mattis was hell-bent on making a Patton-like charge towards his big campaign objective, casualties be damned. This event was infamously portrayed in an episode of Generation Kill on HBO. (The clips is on YouTube. The background of the incident is also covered here.)

“More than 15/minutes ago” Mattis sat of the Board of a company that defrauded tens of millions of people of billions of dollars, Cha Cha

Cheer up mate. You only got suckered into watching it on tv. I got the all expense paid trip to the Sandbox for my suckerization.

What is everyone's opinion on 'Stormin' Norman' Schwarzkopf? He died 10 years ago.

Mattis is one of the guys that I don't hate because it didn't end well. There is some neocon warmonger in most military dudes and they were going to clash at some point. Yes, Trump is to blame somewhat for some of these relationships falling apart.

Daddy separated the sheep from the goats... and that's why people like you hate his guts.
Serious question: How did Mattis betray Trump?

As long as someone else does the dirty work he talks tough. He’s all bull shite and tough talk. Loves to get in front of the camera and run his mouth.
