That same evening, a riot nearly broke out when Obama supporters, chanting the new president’s name, were confronted by white students outside a residence hall who told them: “Any **** who walks by Penland (Hall), we're going to kick their arse, we're going to jump him." The Obama supporters stopped and responded, "Excuse me?"

I'm sorry, there is zero percent chance this is an accurate retelling of events.

It calls in to question much of what you wrote.

It's possible that it only seems that way to you because of your narrow world view and possible affliction with Attribution Bias.
But maybe I'm not understanding your metric? How do you define and identify an "intellectual"? Is it a default expression you use that synonymous with a negative quality?

That being said..my original question asking for like examples of biased excluding of opposing views leading to immediate banning, led you to equate this board with the likes of DU, etc.
Do you stand by that claim?

To answer your question, yes, in The_Donald if you post something against their viewpoints you get banned.

But not here. It is one of the qualities that make this board work.

After seeing how 95%+ of all the "hate crimes" that occurred after Trump was elected were proven false or have zero evidence, I will state that nearly all of the "incidents" referenced in your post are fake.

Several of them were alleged to be simply, "ZOMG! nasty words were said!!"

A few one-off incidents (of which many of the ones you cited involved no damage, just hurt feelings) and you are comparing them to the riots?

Jesus, man It's this sort of mindset that caused Hillary to lose the election. There's a lesson to learn from it but you seem to still be missing it.

High school girl (16) attacked because of support for Trump

High school boy (15) beaten by anti-Trump protestors

Young boy (11) attacked because his family supported Trump

Portland Riots, New Orleans protests (and property damage), Oakland, Indianapolis and the many, MANY non-violent marches that occurred because of the Trump win are not just examples of why the Left lost but it also serves to reinforce Trump supporters in that their vote was the correct one.

Yes. It's why so many Democrats and media personalities refused to consider even the possibility of a Hillary loss. They underestimated (and often dismissed) the concerns of middle America and didn't honestly consider the competition as anything but mean spirited, racist, xenophobic, or deplorable. Their media echoed their sentiments despite clear signs of gaining popularity of populist candidates.

Hell, the Democratic Party had to shut down Bernie Sanders.

As a whole no it is not.

Conservatives understand there are many differing views on what constitutes a great America and how to achieve it.

Liberals are offended that you are so stupid that you don't understand that their plan for America it the only way to move forward.

Conservatives listen to liberals rant about how they are right and conservatives are wrong and go whatever, you believe what you want to believe and I'll believe what I want to believe.

Liberals attack anyone who disagrees with them and puts them on the defensive by taking personal shots at them, calling them racist, making women and black people feel like they are too stupid to think for themselves so they have to be told what to do by conservatives. Waging social media attacks on people and businesses that do not comply, stage protest and even so far a riots when they do not like the results.

They use Political Correctness to justify their "offense" at conservative's benign statements and policy positions....thus, political correctness is a clear, transparent tool of spreading intolerance and censorship.
