Wedgewood Polls admits to being completely, intentionally fake

Entire purpose was to see if the mainstream media would run with their unsubstantiated polls without investigating the numbers.

So major outlets and aggregators ran with their numbers, including people like nate silver - Even Newsweek ran with their BS bogus numbers following an Abdul interview - the poll of which was completely fabricated.
the guys are trying to say they were 'exposing polling' but they had nothing to say till they got caught. In the meantime certain handpicked candidates won tight primaries (abdul being one of them) while their own party opposition's funding suddenly dried out thanks to bogus polls, so... yeah they knew what they were doing and are in CYA mode.
This plus the latest revelation of Independents still favoring (R) by a significant margin make me think republicans are damn lucky that democrats are incapable of fielding anyone remotely normal and democrats may eat some surprising losses.
if it happened in fricking Baton Rouge with Sid it could happen anywhere.

There was a similar one that did the same thing last major election. Why I hadn't cared about poll threads this time around. Especially if I hadn't heard of them before.

Polls are absolute crap in this day & age. Everyone has cell phones with caller ID, nobody is answering robo calls except the elderly and unemployed psychopaths. Even the polls texting people aren't getting proper responses due to all the scammers out there. Not only that, I know most sane people just don't want anyone else to know their business. I'm registered Republican and I won't even answer the right leaning polls trying to contact me. I see these margin of error listed on polls as +/- 2%-4% and think that's got to me closer to 20%-30%.
