Meanwhile, new housing starts were up 7.25% for August for the country. 18% higher than Aug. a year ago.

Europe is in the shitter. China is slowing big time.

Lot of global economic headwinds.

That said, it is in Trump's interest to get an agreement with China.

manufacturing employment is down by several thousand since early in the year in Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and especially Pennsylvania.

very bad construction data this morning too, particularly in the private sector
