Remember the original abortion argument? How it was going to be legal, but also very rare and regulated?
We now live in a world where teen girls can get abortions without parental notification and you can murder your 9 month old about to be delivered baby.
Remember when gays needed legal marriage solely for equally rights? They weren't going to be coming after your children, that's just hateful fear mongering.
We now live in a world of drag queen story hours for children, transgender 5 year olds, and Christian business owners sued and legally harassed.
Now with guns. For decades it's been "Nobody is going to take your guns away" and now it's suddenly Oh actually we are going to take just SOME away

The 9mm round is often referred to as 9mm parabellum which means "for war", so therefore it is a weapon of war and shouldn't be in the hands of civilians. Just think of the children.
