I'm 11 days past the onset of symptoms and I still can't be up more than hour or two without crashing.

At this point Covid is over. It's a cold, even for the elderly or otherwise ill. We'll see how long the world takes to figure this out.

It's almost like we're having, oh I don't know... a rough flu season.

With a mild, sometimes asymptomatic flu, at that.

It's no longer a pandemic, but endemic. Time to learn to cope with it (like the flu)

Talked with a middle aged female employee a couple of weeks ago. Said her body ached worse than giving birth to 3 nine pound babies for two days, fever in the low 100's,lethargic for a couple of weeks and now seems to be over it. She's had the flu and many colds in her lifetime, this is different.

For some it's really, really rough. No question about it. For most people it's a bad cold for a few days.

I have no issue admitting previous variants were more severe, but that wave is over.

Two ladies on my team have it. They toughed it out with some Kleenex and staying off camera so far this week until today.

Fully vaxxed. Boosted. Yep.

Meanwhile, two other ladies took multiple days OFF earlier after getting their booster.
