You're still wrong. The '53 action was initiated by Britain, not the US. And it started because Iran nationalized their oil production backing out of legal agreements with Britain the process. Britain tried to renegotiate terms with Iran, but they rejected them. Britain saw it as protecting its interests. The United States sided with its ally.
