This is unequivocally false.

All 3 are. One is 100% false the other two are incomplete and misleading.

I'd love to know his Marxist Maoist sources

Wtop news in the DC area. Check it out, it’s a laugh riot. They’re big on freeing prisoners with Covid because somehow it’s ok for them to infect law abiding citizens but not to infect each other.

You did it with a left wing newspaper article. I can link their national headlines from today and show how dishonest they are.
That’s a lazy smear attack without suggesting any actual flaw in their findings. I pointed out a flaw in the original polling, and gave an actual example of how self-identification can lead to flawed results.

Free market doing work. Plus, Washington will have all this new merchandise to sell to fans who already own their stuff.

Poll question: How many people in here bitching about changing the name are the same ones who swear they aren't watching another game?

I want you to provide a source for the claim you made.

That's not what this is, at all.

And I’m not attacking the premise or idea that their could be false identifying people in that poll. But A-you can’t provide any specifics on that data and B- you compared a possible smear and pure speculation to a fact. What you did was hide behind a news story that smeared people for political reasons. Cmon man at best it’s an extremely lazy shortcut and that’s at best.

My buddy is a huge Skins fan, since the posse/ Rypien days. He said he’s done with them once they change the name. He said his fan hood dies along with the name. Guess it makes it easier since they have sucked so bad for years. He knows how I felt during the 90s being a saints fan.
Wonder how many more are gonna be like him

Sure. Assuming you keep all of those fans.

There is nothing in either of those erroneous articles about natives calling for a name change.

Snyder should move the team

And?
And if you're not watching the NFL why do you give a shite what the Washington franchise is called?
Posted on 7/13/20 at 12:39 am to Townedrunkard
So there are people who are still NFL fans but THIS is what made them quit? Like, how did they make it to this point, that the Skins changing their name is what finally did them in.
Would they still be watching if they all took a knee during the National Anthem but were still wearing Redskins uniforms?

Seriously? You don’t see any other applications for what’s going on here? It’s only happening in every walk of life across the country everyday.

More evidence that when you confirm the identity of the respondents, you find a higher percentage of respondents who find it offensive:
The problem of self-identification has been addressed by Native American scholars. An alternative method to standard opinion polls was used by the Center for Indigenous Peoples Studies at California State University, San Bernardino. A survey was conducted of 400 individuals, with 98 individuals positively identified as Native Americans, finding that 67% agreed with the statement that "Redskins" is racial or racist. The response from non-natives was almost the opposite, with 68% responding that the name is not racist.
