Can't blame them. They intimidated major US cities for months last year and it worked.
The summer of 2020 showed us that apparently violence is the only way

Not only encouraging violence, but blaming it on Republicans.
What do you expect from people who don't take responsibility for their own actions.

I found the oped and that's not what the author is suggesting. He's saying that if Trump isn't held accountable the result will be more insurrectionist violence that they will encourage Trump and his supporters to continue to act violently. Closing sentences:
quote:
The question is whether Republican senators will surrender to their political terror of defying Trump — even knowing that acquitting him will encourage more insurrection. “Impeachment,” DeGette suggested to the senators, “is not to punish but to prevent.”
If they vote to acquit, Republican senators will be inviting Trump to try to retake the White House with even more violence. How many more will die because of it?

So, Trump was responsible for his people but dems are not responsible for their people?

I wished I lived in an area I could use to my gun to put down some rioters...

Low IQ is also why DemProgFilth rely upon more govt. and demand ever more govt.: Unable to think, act, be responsible, for themselves due to lack of mental ability. It's why they have a terminal case of the "gimme's". Inability to provide for themselves.

What exactly did trump do to these people?

It will be democrats tearing up shite in democrat cities.
There were pallets of bricks dropped off for last years riots. Maybe we should drop off a couple hundred 5 gallon cans of gas.
(Gas. not diesel, so maybe the teefas will catch themselves on fire).

I thought language was dangerous.

So they'll burn down their own cities again? Go right ahead.

That's some irony right there...
Spot on observation!
