Was Trump ok tonight?

I didn’t watch but I’ve seen a few comments about his appearance and people speculating that he’s sick. Any truth to that?

It was very subdued and his voice was weird and off.

Same wheezing he does with most teleprompter speeches.

He got that corona. That’s why he’s like “this ain’t shite”

Microphone wasn’t positioned correctly so it picked up more of his breathing than it should have.

Hmm I’ll have to watch it in the morning and see I guess. I’m gonna be quite concerned if he is sick and caught it from the CPAC.

His default gear is attack. When he's somber he doesn't sound like himself.

He's never top of his game when he's sitting and reading a script with no crowd or guests to bounce off of. He's an extrovert and solo, sterile reading is his absolute worst dynamic.
Having said that it was a good speech. If I had to speculate, I think he is dealing with some stress and fatigue and may have some minor sinus or upper respiratory thing, but did not appear gravely ill, frail, weak, etc.

I noticed what seemed like a stifled cough once?

There's a reason president's age fast in office. Trump has been immune to it.
Until now. This may seriously age him. Imagine the responsibility he has right now and the strain of being in charge.

The thing I noticed was his right eye appeared to be a bit swollen. It was a bit more squinted than his left eye. I actually texted my buddy about it during the speech

I couldn't imagine how much stress he's handling lately. I gotta believe that it would take a toll on anyone.

Maybe he’s just 73 and tired. I doubt he’s getting much sleep in light of recent events.

I noticed the eye too. His right eye was almost completely closed. Like others have said, could just be fatigue and stress from what’s been going on.

Just needs a bump of some good coke like in the good ole days, that will get him back in the game!

If he’s got it he caught it from this guy.

People are stupid. Reading way too much into comparing his teleprompter speech vs his rally speeches. You can’t act all high energy when you’re addressing the nation from the Oval Office.
