I think you could make the case that they're about on even keel, based on today and 2015 when he was running. He then lost in Iowa and New Hampshire, similar to what will happen to Ron. Then he put all the rest of his money into South Carolina, which Ron will also likely do, and he'll lose. Then he'll quit just like Jeb did.
Then he probably won't endorse Trump just like Jeb did not.
Then he'll humiliatingly float away into the establishment ethos just like Jeb did.

OMG NO!
I’ll give him credit where it is due. He managed the hurricane summer from hell really well. It the year the entire state was hit at least once during a six week span. My house got hit three times in two weeks. It was ridiculous.

Or he's just hilariously wrong.
I find that most people who've suddenly become experts on Florida don't live here, only started paying attention in November of last year when Trump came up with the toddler nicknames, and generally have no fricking clue what they're talking about. One even tried to call DeSantis a shill installed in the governor's mansion by the "establishment".
