Was I the only one that cringed knowing exactly what would happen when Blake reached into the car? Did anyone not know they were going to shoot him? No matter your race, if you do that, you will be shot. Do people not know that, or is everyone pretending to not know that. Parents...schools...mayors...governors...senators...clergy...coaches...Where are you? Does anyone on this board not know that?

I guess I don't understand why they didn't jump on him with numbers as he came around the vehicle or as he reached for handle.

I suspect it’s because in the current climate, the cops were thinking instead of letting their training take over.

They tasered him twice. And they asked him 10 times to drop his weapon. He made his choice. Cops aren’t trained to do whatever they can to make sure criminals aren’t harmed. And they shouldn’t be trained that way. I’m sorry if that upsets you.
A violent criminal resisting arrest is going to end badly. And that’s how it should be.
Please point me to a few cases of 100% innocent and compliant people being slain by police for no reason. Any cases of any race. I’ll wait. Has this ever even happened?

When they jumped on Alton Sterling in BR many “armchair police officers“ were saying they shouldn’t have. There’s no right answer from the critics behind their screens.
