We as well as outer allies helped shoot down incoming drones and missiles last time.
Defensive actions and far different than offensive actions. Having more damage within Israel would only escalate the war more as Israel seeks retribution. It’s bad enough most of the missiles are targeting urban centers while it appears for the most part Israel targeted military/nuke sites/energy sites as opposed to urban centers. They did hit some as they were targeting leadership.

The US choosing to aid our allies defense by shooting down incoming missles is NOT getting involved in the manner you suggest.
