I’m predicting record NFL viewership on CBS this season.

Celebrities and TV viewers are encouraging all Americans to "boycott" the popular network in the wake of the cancellation of Stephen Colbert's late-night talk show.

I’m continuing my boycott of the NFL that i’ve been maintaining since the 1990s
i also boycotted Colbert’s show for its entire duration

Boycotting the NFL will never work. I’m willing to wager that the majority of NFL fans are right wing. If the boycotts against Kaepernick or the forced social justice slogans didn’t make a dent in the bottom line, nothing will. That’s a fact.

So the NFL which is profitable for tv companies should be reduced to less profitable company because a failed tv program was cancelled? Only in a demented mind that makes sense

This is definitely going to work.
I would imagine that most of Cobert’s daily viewers are also hardcore NFL fans and are super offended that he got cancelled.

Funny how none of those "celebrities" offered to pitch in and help compensate CBS for the $20-$40 million Colbert's show was losing every year. I guess they didnt love their pencil-necked "hero" quite that much.
Hollywood needs to continue to die on the vine.

Bread and circuses.
Americans neeeeeeeed their NFL no matter how much the NFL hates its fans. No matter how much the players in the NFL hate the fans.

So in reading the accompanying linked piece, the single “celebrity” identified was Jimmy Kimmel, lol - smh.
As far as “viewers”, there were about three or four supposed quotes with “one said…” or “another said…”.
Hell, for all I know the “viewers” to which these quotes were attributed could’ve been the writer of the piece and one or two colleagues in the newsroom.
What passes for journalism in our world nowadays is painfully embarrassing.

Thats because it's not journalism at all, it's pure propoganda.

Truman Capote testified to this. After chatting at countless Hollywood parties with the stars he said that celebrities are shockingly ignorant of everything not related to film making.
