Well, I am not a big "test everyone" person but this virus probably doesn't make the top 10 of things that will kill you in most malarial countries at this point...

That map pretty much doubles as places where the governments aren't really testing. Right now, super rich Singapore population: 5M has about ~350 official cases after putting in place strict testing and quarantine measures. Nearby Indonesia which is a little more than 50 times as big, poor and doing absolutely nothing about Covid-19 also has~350 official cases. The amount of testing being done seems like a significant confounding factor here.

And the people with the biggest doomsday predictions are also the people saying, "We need to be hesitant pushing out a cure that isn't FDA approved to fight the virus (even though the medication has been FDA approved for decades)." Some people seem to really be rooting for the virus to destroy this country either physically or economically.

Called my primary care Dr. yesterday and asked them if chloroquine would be available for high risk individuals which would include myself due to age and a previous heart attack. I was told there's no directive from government officials to begin preventative chloroquine dispensation......was also told the current supply of chloroquine is being used for patients who are already sick with COVID19 and some is being held back for healthcare workers due to the hazards of their job.

How can they dispense this to sick patients without Government OK?
I saw where Bayer said it would donate to the US a combined 6B doses of chloroquine and the other drug being touted as a cure....that should be plenty.

The thing that really ticks me off is all these talking head doctors immediately going back to "we need several months to test" when this drug is brought up. It has been available since the '30's so why in the hell do we need to spend months testing something that could very well stop this pandemic in it's tracks?
This doesn't mean drop everything and go with the hail mary, but it's like most of these clowns are in no rush at all to get anything done.
