Everyone knows what they’re doing. They’re pretending he’s a man’s man because he “led a team to a state title.” It’s a typical politician/salesperson resume. Lies on top of bullshite on top of embellishments.

Go after his embellishment & pretending he was the head coach. That’ll stick with the Stolen Valor issues.
Nobody who has ever played a sport thinks calling him on calling himself “Coach” makes any sense.
He claimed to be the head coach of a team that went to the state championship when he was really an unpaid intern on that team. Yuge difference.
He did serve as a coach for some high school at one point but was fired for a DUI.

We weren’t Mankato West fans 25 years ago… we don’t know what Walz did to coach up the kids or install a scheme. We don’t know if they were a recruited up team a la John Curtis that would have won state that year with anyone coaching

I was an assistant coach for a few years, also. You don't see me boasting to that claim on my resume because I was basically a helper.
