It will never be on par with the top two...

Why don't corporations just stay tf out of politically driven agendas?

Two reasons.

First, younger Millennials and Zoomers, when polled, actually WANT companies to do this. They don't want companies to remain apolitical. That makes ZERO sense to my Gen X brain, but it's what the numbers read. So, these people are now in the work force and they are pushing this idea inside of these companies. They are telling older decision makers to look to Twitter as if it's the same thing as actual focus grouping of their customers. There really are, as hard as it is to believe, a large enough group of idiots that think that if Nabisco (maker of Oreos) doesn't wade into the LGBTQIA+&%#! or abortion debate that their silence is violence!

Second, almost never do customers that disagree with this new move by companies make them pay for it by walking away. There is no cost to pay for them doing this, because it makes part of their customers happy, and the part that is mad never walks away fully. This is especially true with stupid shite like entertainment, where people forget that those things are just WANTS and not NEEDS, but the fear of missing out prevent them from dropping it all and telling them to frick right off.

Offering a product to pander doesn’t really trip my give-a-frick meter.

I just won’t buy it.

Really? Gee. Has that ever happened before? I’d be astonished to find that out if so.

Paying people not to work on Juneteenth is the definition of irony.

BLM: It's racist to ignore Juneteenth as a national holiday.

Also BLM: Don't patronize us by promoting products celebrating Juneteenth.

Greatness

We do it every other day. Calling it a holiday is what's ironic.

Article basically says the recall was because blacks complained on social media that WM was profiting off the holiday. Duh, don't all businesses profit off holiday promotions?

The complaints are because WM didn't give the money directly to approved organizations. So those organizations could buy mansions and pay off baby daddies.

These race hucksters would bitch about anything.

Juneteenth should be a federal holiday that nobody celebrates?

Black people should be commended for their contributions to American culture. Just not on grocery or food products.

It makes me dizzy.
