No way I was going to watch that shite show last night.
Seeing the responses here, I see it was just about as I expected.
God save the Republic.

This board has been "awake" for years, Jim. 90% of us pegged Obama as soon as the ACA started to move in Congress. Shut down coal, Gulf oil workers "get on unemployment", CapnTrade, et al. Chicago Politics...directed at reducing the Capitalist power of this nation..."fundamentally changing" it.
And re "too late"...not the way it works. Socialism is presented to a desperate populous as the compassionate solution to their problem...when in reality...it is the cause of the problem. The 'problem' being that Socialism creates a whole economic class that gets up every morning lamenting their 'need' and the lack of social 'equality'. Whiners, more or less. And when they become a Democratic electoral force...down we all go. They vote the money out of their working (responsible) peers' pockets, and think that the that is only fair. Envy...powerful force.
Even if Republicans were to take over all three Branches, the mere numbers of brain-washed citizenry would do just what your spoiled child would do if you remove their 'entitled' stipend, and demand that they do what those who support them do. Go to work and serve moral purpose. They throw a hissy fit; and that is exactly what the Dem base will do if any Political Party pushes them.
This runaway train will have to crash; there are no 'brakes' (Conservative policy) that can slow it down by degree...because such would be painted by the demagogic Socialist as greedy and wicked. We'll have to ride this baby to a stop.
Throw in Islamist hegemony in the ME and Iran with nukes...forget voting and 'gridlock'. It'll be EVENTS that rule the day. No way Obama gets the kind of power that will be required in those days; this place would go rogue if he even tried.
We'll learn a definitive lesson out of this.

This cracks me up. Do you all not realize that the weath distribution gap in this country has widened more in the last 4 years than before Obama?
If he were advancing a socialist agenda, we would not see these results.
Dont worry America. Obama does want some form of wealth distribution becuase a wealth gap thats too wide is bad for the economy, but we are far from being socialist or communist.

Don't elect (twice) a completely unqualified person with nothing more than a wacko agenda and an adoring media?

No we won't. And that is the saddest part of all of this.

Meh. While I agree that Obama is not a socialist (he's probably best described as a quasi-authoritative collectivist who par takes in crony capitalism), socialism often results in an extreme wealth gap.

You guys are ridiculous. What is so communist about being in the pockets of banks? To continuing the war racket? Obama is a fascist. He's a socialist in the sense that most of you on here are socialist, but he's much heavier on the social spending. Most of you support socialist policies to varying degrees.

I really am telling myself not to ask this question because it will lead to a shite show, BUT I can't help myself. Can you explain and give examples of impeachable offenses for which Obama has avoided charges, but for which other presidents have had articles of impeachment brought against them?

Just a tad contradictory there, huh, Bob? Kinda make one wonder...a bit.
We all want 'wealth distribution'...at least for them who are willing to WORK for their wealth...instead of vote for it. There is a BIG difference between wealth 'distributed' by personal merit...as opposed to personal need.
Consequences matter. We get the kind of individuals and government that our Principles cultivate. But the Truth of Numbers and Mother Nature (survival and prosperity of the FIT), and God (Morality, and reward based on PERSONAL merit) will be the ultimate arbiter of this grand Ideological dogfight. And which ideas remain standing to base the next society on.
Mud on the wall.

Uh, do what exactly? There's an election in 2016. You'll have another chance to vote for someone different.
That's right, folks.
If the Constitutional Conservative message can get out there, and the US electorate accepts it, we can get on the path to recovery in 2016.
The problem is, IMHO, the US electorate rejects Constitutional Conservatism because the US electorate has changed. The US electorate now wants a welfare state and big, intrusive FedGov.

They can't VOR. They make ludicrous statements like this each and every day saying no president has ever done this, or if he'd be white or if he'd be Republican...and then when you show examples of far worse practices, they give you the "but he's not president anymore" line.

You shoulda done your part, and volunteered for the Ron Paul campaign of 2008.
