Nobody on the left or right wants this being done through title ll
That is just a straight lie. The only way the left (meaning the politicians that pushed this through) wants this done is through title 2. The same outcomes could be achieved without Title 2 and were proposed. The left shot it down in favor of going Title 2.

Well that is simply bullshite. It’s been in place for two years and the world is not in ashes.
That's an interesting comment to make with all the doom and gloom scenarios that get thrown around by the NN people.

Source.
EDIT: Also source for the alternative legislation Republicans have at the ready to more efficiently achieve the underlying goals mitigating network discrimination and extortion. After all, if it was the liberals holding back a better way of achieving this as you assert, I assume we will be getting a simultaneous passing of that legislation day and date.

Explain how the internet thrived for 20 years without it?
Real simple. If I am anti-government / regulation, I'm a hypocrite if I pick and choose the regulations I like.
But back to my initial point, how did the internet thrive for 20 years without the regulations in place?
Markets will take care of business. Companies no longer have monopolies in every area.
Customers punished the companies who throttled various sites so they stopped.
What I don't get is the pansy arse end of the world crap you guys keep spewing when NN didn't even exist until very recently.
