I'm sure the board has seen the mounting claims by Minnesota legislators and others close to the situation that accusations of racism by the Governor's office were threatened to those who poked around the fraud story too much.
So, in spite of our resident contrarian's deep concern for the truth as he sees it, I will assume this report from WA is accurate until disproven.

This. Shirley didn't do anything differently from what a ton news station investigative journalists have done over the years. The difference here is, he did it... and they wouldn't touch this. Why? They'll use the same tactics to go track down some dude that owns an automechanic business, ripping people for hundreds of dollars on fake repairs to their vehicles and shite like that... but they completely ignored a huge story about billions in fraud occurring right in front of our faces with ties to politicians. Guess it wasn't the right politicians and right ethnicity of people committing the fraud, stealing billions in tax payer money, for it to be a story worth pursuing.

I'm admittedly jumping in here late, but how is Shirley not relevant in this thread? The WA AG's statement is clearly a direct response to Shirley's investigative journalism. "Try that shite here and we'll arrest you" is the clear message.

Musk is claiming that countrywide across the entire USA, the level is north of 1.5 trillion dollars in fraud alone. This childcare fraud is being used by them to make people aware of just how criminal they can be with out any regard to the needs of children.

So, Shirley isn't relevant in a thread about journalists in other states specifically copy-catting his work?
