When takers outnumber the makers, the takers control the makers.

Takers will obviously vote in favor of politicians who promise “entitlements”.

While this has been happening at the local & state levels for a while, we’re at the front end of this on the federal level.

The Founding Fathers tried to avoid this scenario via voting laws, but “muh feels” got in the way of logic.

I can’t imagine any way out.

Why do makers fund taker groups so they can take from makers?

Ill favor cuts in welfare for people if at the same time we cut no less in corporate welfare.

No stadiums are built anymore (for pro teams) without the city kicking in.

Farm Aid.

McDonalds got millions to market chicken nuggets in Japan.

Etc.

Easy fix that wont be done, but you have to net pay into the system to vote. Net takers dont get to vote.

So basically, you want to go back to only having white male property owners have sole voting rights.

They don’t have to be white or male but should be property owners.

Another reason to not use a tax-qualified savings plan.

not me

I have a simple criteria that has nothing to do with sex, race, religion or ethnicity.

If you are on government assistance, your voting privilege is suspended.

When you get off, you get to vote again.

Now you understand why we want to import MILLIONS of third world citizens and have them vote with NO ID.

Sincerely,

If that is the only option between that and what we have now = then YES

I'd settle for:

1 - make ALL forms of 'welfare' while retaining voting rights to be reviewed for responsible behavior == meaning no trivial expenditures, sincere efforts to become financially independent = responsible parentage to include efforts to make sure offspring do not become public wards = etc.
- if a person decides to just be a parasite - then forfeit the right to vote (ensure this by VERY RIGID and ROBUST Voter ID, registration requirements) = we will keep you alive because it ia a public sanity issue for you to die in the streets.

2 - ensure that all voters have some degree of understanding the impact of their vote = if you don't know anything about the office you are voting upon, then no vote. YES - some sort of POLL TEST administered at time of registration.
= remove POPULARITY as the only rationale for a choice.

3 - raise voting age to 30 yrs. === we have raised adolescence into the late 20s - no adolescent should be allowed to vote.

4 - no external assistance in getting to the registration office or voting booth = limit assistance normal friends and family only + no other 'bribe' for a vote.

/\ nothing in there is racist, misogynist, religious, or otherwise discriminatory

Not when you factor in the VA benefits you get. Of course I am talking in general, not about you personally my good man.

What VA benefits offset the taxes "most" veterans pay each year? Be specific.
