I think it is perfectly fitting. I live here and it has gotten a little bit of play in the news. If you don’t want the name, give back the money. Maybe not strait bit on the right course to fight this crap.

It’s the name of a law school at a small private liberal arts school deep in the Richmond suburbs, not exactly the Lincoln Memorial.

Also worth noting, nobody made them do this. That school is overwhelmingly white, Christian, conservative, and wealthy. Same for their leadership and alumni (the epitome of old money richmond). Same for Hampton Sydney, W&L, VMI and so many other historic VA schools.

My point, blaming this on liberals is nonsense.

Let's see what happens when donors start taking their money elsewhere. This woke shite will end with a quickness.

OR what will actually happen. Lose the name, keep all the money, and stop worrying about it.

Other than writing a shitty op-ed in the RTD which nobody will read, there’s nothing they can realistically do. Maybe some alumni donors pull their donations/gifts (in fact I’m sure they will) but that’s about as good as it gets.

When I lived in Alexandria, this was my local HS, didn’t have kids but thought it was cool bc it was from Remember the Titans.

I went back there two years ago and the name had been changed

Again, UofR, not really liberal. At all.

Hell just go to a football or basketball game on campus, I go a couple times a year, it’ll be very obvious very fast. Same w all the surrounding neighborhoods.

Yea they’ll lose because a lot of colleges and other organizations will cease to exist if they have to give back after canceling someone.

But they sure won't be getting any more money from them. Bonus is now those considering giving money will think twice.

Sure it did. Every school is being pressured by your woke brigade.

Mostly transplants like yourself.

Sorry, we, as in Virginians. Not you.

But no I didn’t. I had to hold my nose and vote for Terry. Who I don’t think anyone likes.

Of course you didn’t. You are a progressive.

You are no Virginian. You are legally allowed to vote there as you are a resident. That’s it.

My daughter went to WnL. When the liberal professors tried to drop Lee off the school the alums threatened no more money. That was that.

Liberal alum/donors? Nope
Liberal politicians w state money? Nope
Liberal student body? Nope

It’s a small private school, they aren’t beholden to anyone.

My guess? Their reputation as a school for rich (tuition is insane for what it is) preppy white conservatives is well established. This is no secret. I imagine they’re trying to broaden their appeal/brand to get more students and this is a part of that effort.

Progressives are so stupid.
