I see a lot of science deniers under the religiously unaffiliated tag. I thought they were supposed to be the True
Believers when it came to all things science.

The problem with these surveys are people identify with faiths they don’t practice.
Example, I bet a bunch of ethnic Jews who don’t follow Jewish practices are identified here as “Jewish”
How many Catholic’s identify as Catholics but don’t go to church, don’t understand Catholicism, don’t agree with anything the church believes but they put catholic on this poll because their parents were and they went as a kid.
Nothing burns me up more than someone who went to Catholic Church as a kid and now posts stuff on twitter like “As a catholic, we should all support transgenderism.” No, you aren’t catholic and your views directly contradict the church teachings in numerous ways. You don’t speak for the church because you went there 15 years ago.

Transgenderism is but a stepping stone on the path to transhumanism.

Atheist Jews still identify with the group. It's an ethnic religion.
You don't have to quote the Torah to move to Israel for example. Just have the right DNA.

All this tells me is that there are a lot of morons in this nation who are easily swayed by absurd propaganda.
The left created, from NOTHING, "genders" which are nothing more than personality types and just like the morons watching the emperor ride by, everyone nods their heads afraid to admit they see no clothes.

The graph confirms what I posted yesterday about Catholics in the John Bell Edwards thread.
Since they don’t rely on the Bible only for moral direction, they are tossed to and fro by every wave of doctrine. They basically make moral judgments based on feelings and how public opinion leans.

Oh look, we have another anti-semitic alter.
"How many times do we have to teach you this lesson, old man?"

You realize that the Catholic Church is the one true church created by Jesus Christ Himself, right?

Since the RCC didn’t exist till years after Jesus’ resurrection, this is impossible.
But I do understand how your view is based on the erroneous assumption that Peter was the RCC’s first Pope.
Another impossibility, since the RCC didn’t exists till years after Peter’s death.

For "White mainline/non-evangelical Protestant" they should have just said Episcopalians and Methodists.

And even if we pretended that the RCC was directly created by Jesus; it's been more than 2000 years.
Heck. The United States was created by a collection of men just a bit over 200 years ago and even THEY wouldn't recognize their creation today.
But yeah, the RCC, run by HUMANS, has remained in its original form for more than 2000 years!

It’s a sad indictment on the Catholic Church that basically the same percentage of white Catholics believe there are more than two genders as the general population.

Well, the poll doesn't explain what they mean by "Catholic". There are plenty of people who will check that box but their involvement with the Church ends there. Among practicing and involved Catholics, the numbers would be very different.

Well apparently their belief system isn’t strong enough to have an impact on them.
