This is a jury that was scared to death of what going to happen to them & their families from the media & woke mob if they didn’t find her guilty. This is where we are now in this country.

I agree, they shouldn't haven't chosen to be on the jury if they were pussies.

The closing argument wasn't the greatest but the state never brought forward any legitimate evidence to support a guilty verdict

The jury is a bunch of idiots

I suspect there were a small minority of holdouts, and they gave in at the thought of being consumed by the case during Christmas. Because apparently they would have had to get right back at it Monday morning. I know I've had it happen a time or two. I now grill potential jurors pretty hard individually as to whether they are willing to hold their ground if they've reached a hard conclusion in their own mind, even in the face of dogged pressure from other jurors to just get it over with.

I'd almost argue that you can't get an impartial jury in any big city.

I disagree completely with 1st degree man. No idea why 1st degree man even exists. I do think there was a very strong case for 2nd deg. man however. Pulling the wrong weapon is by nature negligent

A person who causes the death of another by any of the following means is guilty of manslaughter in the second degree

(1) by the person's culpable negligence whereby the person creates an unreasonable risk, and consciously takes chances of causing death or great bodily harm to another;

What kind of time is she looking at? Is there a minimum sentencing guideline and what is the max she could get? I would think she would have a good basis for an appeal.

If you believe someone is not guilty you don't submit because of fear of being consumed

Good point.

If that's the case, they didn't take their job seriously.
