I hate starting threads like this, but I need help. I have family member who is fighting her ex over vaccinating their child against Covid. I’m looking for articles, studies, etc. that can articulate why that isn’t necessary or bad for the child. I’ve seen a ton of it posted in the past, but wanted to convey the message with the best current content. Any help is much appreciated.

First, it’s not a vaccine. Stop calling it that.

The lack of long-term studies is all the evidence you need.

Especially since they only offer protection for a few months from a virus that hardly bothers kids in the first place.

go to any GP in town and they'll tell you. Covid has devolved into a very mild illness - particularly in kids. Most docs arent even prescribing anything - they just send you home to rest for a few days.
And vaccine status is clearly having no bearing on infection. Everyone is getting it - especially folks who are vaxed and quadruple boosted. If she doesnt force the kid to get the annual flu shot, then she shouldnt be overly concerned about the covid vaccine.

This will eventually meld into a complex of flus referred to as "the flu" that people deal with every year, as we always have. We are likely there already. The only difference is fear.

Do we even know if this is true? Especially in those younger than 50 much less kids.

I would look for flu related deaths to covid related deaths. Flu numbers will outpace those easily.

Search the boards -- I think it's Publix that won't be giving this vaccine to kids ... if a pharmacy won't give it that's a hint to me.

What stats are you thinking for? The stats that show children are at essentially no risk from Covid or stats that the vaccine at this point only maybe prevents a serious case of Covid (which is statistically negligible in children).

Honestly unless you live w/I walking distance of a pharmacy, the potential injury from the car ride to the pharmacy would eliminate the extremely small risk/reward of getting the vaccine if you were a child.

Who wants them vaccinated and who has primary custody. Very easy.

Read substack pages for the following journalists/doctors/data analysts:

Alex Berenson
El Gato Malo
Steve Kirsch
Robert Malone
Toby Rogers
Coleen Huber

They have hundreds of write ups using info directly from studies and government data sources. If it doesn’t convince this person, nothing will.

Get something in writing and hopefully a cheap lawyer.

Anyone who wants to vaccinate their children over this shite deserves a nice big shitburger to eat.

There's a story making the rounds that the FDA panel approved the vax for babies and toddlers, even having "lost" the placebo group. Hmmmm. I bet we can all guess what the placebo group's performance was relative to the vax group.

The simple answer is; covid isnt a serious enough illness - especially for kids - to warrant the risk of this vaccine that was rushed through trials in an extremely truncated regulatory environment.

This should make any parent nervous and suspicious.

My "baby" is 21 ... but I wouldn't vaccinate my kids for this if I had little ones.

I told my son/daughter in law if they vaccinate any future grandchildren for this don't even mention it to me. They won't do it .. but had to tell them for good measure.

You’re not going to find peer-reviewed articles arguing futility at this stage.

Tell them to go in together and talk to their pediatrician.
